About this Piece
BRUYERE GARANTIE stamped on the shank and a bowl that is oval at the rim: this is a smooth, slightly bent pipe on a saddle stem with a fishtail mouthpiece, made for a 9 mm filter.
It is unsmoked new old stock with signs of long storage, and with stain scratches and dents around the briar. The stamp is a single line, with some letters worn.

Seen from above, the rim is an oval, longer than it is wide, and the pipe has a slight bend. The bowl is 45 mm high and 40 mm wide around a chamber 20 mm across and 39 mm deep. The pipe is 152 mm long and weighs 40 g. The saddle stem ends in a fishtail mouthpiece.
The finish is smooth, and the grain of the briar shows on the bowl.
