Old Master Foreign Made Silk Brush Bent Billiard Estate Pipe

Old Master in script, with FOREIGN MADE in capitals under it: this is a bent billiard in a silk brush finish, fitted with a vulcanite tapered stem and a fishtail mouthpiece, and made for a 9 mm filter. In the stamp, Old is faint and Master is clearer.

It is pre-smoked and in fair condition, with scratches on the shank and bite marks on the mouthpiece.

FOREIGN MADE names no country, so the country of making cannot be read from the stamp. No date is given for this pipe.

A billiard bowl is shaped like a cylinder, and here the pipe is bent. The bowl stands 52 mm high and 41 mm wide, with a chamber 44 mm deep.

The silk brush finish lays fine lines over the bowl and the shank.
