Toma in script on the side of the shank, and a silver tone metal band where the shank meets the stem: this is an unsmoked Toma bent billiard on an acrylic tapered stem.
The stem takes a 9mm filter and ends in a fishtail mouthpiece. The Toma script reads clearly in the close-up; the band carries an engraving that the photographs do not show in enough detail to read.
THE MARKS
- Toma in script, stamped on the side of the shank
A billiard is the classic pipe shape: a bowl shaped like a cylinder, set on a shank. This bowl is 50 mm high and 38 mm wide around a chamber 20 mm across and 42 mm deep, and the acrylic stem tapers from the band to the fishtail bit.
The finish is smooth with a high gloss. Please see the photographs for the grain.
No date is given for this pipe, and no maker history is recorded for the Toma name.
Condition: unsmoked.
