REAL BRIAR names the wood. The meaning of 7F and FF is not known, and no date is given for this pipe.

The billiard is the plain, classic pipe shape: a bowl shaped like a cylinder on a straight shank. On this pipe the shank is oval rather than round. The bowl is 45 mm high and 33 mm wide, around a chamber 20 mm across and 38 mm deep, and the pipe is 141 mm long and weighs 25 g. The vulcanite stem tapers from the shank down to the fishtail mouthpiece.

The finish is smooth, and grain shows on the bowl and the shank.
